What is the structure of the Indian education system?

The Indian education system is divided into four levels: primary, secondary, higher secondary, and higher education. Primary education is compulsory for all children aged 6 to 14 years and is provided by the government. Secondary education is for children aged 14 to 18 years and is offered by both government and private schools. Higher secondary education is for students aged 18 to 21 years and is offered by both government and private colleges.
