15-Point Programme for the Welfare of Minorities and Delivery Monitoring Unit in Prime Ministers Office (PMO)

The Prime Minister’s Office in India has started monitoring of the following seven indicators pertaining access under the Prime Minister’s New 15-Point Programme for the Welfare of Minorities:

  • Number of Primary Schools to be constructed in districts with substantial minority population
  • Number of Upper Primary Schools to be constructed in districts with substantial minority population
  • Number of ACRs to be constructed in districts with substantial minority population
  • Number of new Primary Schools to be constructed in districts with substantial minority population
  • Number of new Upper Primary Schools to be constructed in districts with substantial minority population
  • Number of Teachers sanctioned in districts with substantial minority population; and
  • Number of KBGVs sanctioned/operationalised in districts with substantial minority population
  • In addition, Delivery Monitoring Unit in PMO is also monitoring different aspects of SSA.
